The Heron’s Cove Breakfast Menu
Full Irish Breakfast is served in the Restaurant between 9am and 10am or if you prefer, we can arrange a Continental Breakfast for you at any time convenient to you.
Our breakfast is simply whatever you would like us to cook for you.
We have Fresh Fruit, Cereals, Oats and West Cork Yogurts followed by Traditional Irish Breakfast – as full as you like. Choose from West Cork Smoked Bacon, Handmade Sausages, Clonakilty Black and White Pudding, Tomatoes, Irish Mushrooms and Irish Hash Browns. Murphy’s Upton local free range Eggs can be boiled, fried, poached, scrambled or made into an omelette with Ballineen Cheddar, Gubbeen or Durrus Cheese. Or perhaps you would like a cheese plate with Irish Farmhouse Cheeses. If the breakfast that you prefer is something else, we can cook that too. Our homemade Brown Soda Bread, Toast, Bandon Creamery Butter, Irene’s Marmalade, Michael Pat’s Honey and Jennifer Burchill’s Jams are there for you. If you want to leave early, we can give you a breakfast tray in your room.

The Heron’s Cove Winerack is filled with a wide selection of wines from all over the world at reasonable prices.
You choose your bottle from the rack and we open it for you at the table. We have a good collection of Beers, Aperitifs, Digestifs, Dessert Wines, Champagne, Sparkling Wines, Liqueurs, Cognac, Madeira, Port and Premuim Whiskeys.
For an excellent pint of stout – Murphy or Guinness, there are four pubs a short walk away in the village.
